Educational offers

The intention of the pedagogical concept of the Camera Obscura with the Museum “Prehistory of Film” is to invite school classes to discover physical backgrounds of the optics. The guided tours which are offered for children as well as the different workshops are closely adjusted to the syllabus and represent in this way an appropriate and imaginative supplement to the lesson.


On the basis of the spacious conditions a class is separated into two groups: While the first group is visiting the museum and the Camera Obscura with the staff, the second group is creating individual topics on its own with kind of quiz-questions for their discoveries. Afterwards the groups swap their tasks. Finally the children have the opportunity to attend a workshop where they can learn how to replicate an optical delusion.

All in all a trip to the Camera Obscura offers a pleasure of learning for all ages.


Individual guided tours and workshops for school classes can be arranged individually by the team of the museum.

Price: per class/group of children 35,00 EUR plus admission fee (2,50 EUR p.p.)

Rallye:

A short rallye through the museum for children offers an individual insight in the topic and makes a lot of fun either!
